The tarantula that I got custody of has shed her exoskeleton. Oddly enough she started right after her owner came over for a visit and we were holding her. I hadn't taken her out of her cage since getting her. I thought maybe we'd killed her because she just lay there for about a day.
I don't know what to do with the exoskeleton though. Maybe I'll throw it on unsuspecting trick-or-treaters as they stop by this Friday.
I wish I could molt every once in awhile.
